We Will Remember Oct 7th and Celebrate Simchat Torah Event
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, the Jewish community of Howard County will gather at Chabad Lubavitch of Howard County for a memorial service honoring the over 1,200 victims of the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attacks in Israel. The event, organized by Chabad, will feature the recitation of the Yizkor prayer and a candle-lighting ceremony to honor the victims. The program will also include a special children's program (childcare throughout) a joyous Simchat Torah celebration, a holiday that marks the completion of the Torah reading cycle, with singing, dancing, and a Kosher dinner.
